Instructions for On-site and Online Oral Presentations
– WaMEC 2025 –
To ensure the quality and smooth running of the conference, please follow the instructions below for your oral presentations:
1. On-site Oral Presentations
• Presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint format 4:3 (*.pptx or *.ppt). We strongly recommend you using the attached file “Oral_Presentation_Template”.
• Rename your file according to the following convention: Abstract number – Participant’s name.pptx Example: 656688–TAYOUT.pptx
• Presenters are requested to submit their file to the technical committee on a USB drive at least 30 minutes before the start of their session.
• The official languages of the WaMEC2025 conference are French and English.
• The maximum presentation time is 10 minutes.
2. Online Presentations
For participants who are unable to attend in person and have requested to deliver their oral presentation remotely, please prepare your talk as a pre-recorded video (maximum duration: 10 minutes) and send it no later than Monday, November 10, 2025.
• Online sessions will be conducted via Zoom or Google Meet (an access link will be provided by email prior to the conference).
• Presenters must login at least 15 minutes before their session for technical checks.
• Format and duration:
o A video presentation (PowerPoint or equivalent) recorded with your voice and face visible in a small window (on top of the slides). We strongly recommend you using the attached file “Oral_Presentation_Template”.
o The presentation must be clear and well structured.
o Maximum duration: 10 minutes.
o File name format: Abstract number – Participant’s name.pptx Example: 656688–TAYOUT.pptx
This procedure aims to avoid any technical or connectivity issues during the conference while ensuring the scientific quality of the exchanges.
Please note that online attendance during the live session is mandatory. You must be connected at the time scheduled in the official program to answer questions and participate in the discussion following your presentation.
