Welcome to WaMEC 2025              

Following the great success and interest generated by the 5th edition of the International Conference on Materials and Environment (JIME2019), organized by our Laboratory of Applied Chemistry and Environment in two institutions of Ibnou Zohr University, such as the Faculty of Sciences of Agadir and the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Aït Melloul, the International Conference on Water, Materials, and Environment (WaMEC2025) will be held this time by the Laboratory of Applied Chemistry and Environment (LACAPE – FS Agadir) in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation Laboratory (LMRI - FP Khouribga) and the Moroccan Association of Applied Sciences and Environment (AMSAE). This event, focusing on the main topics "Water, Materials, and Environment," will take place on November 12-13, 2025 in Agadir – Morocco.
As any international conference, WaMEC 2025 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars from around the globe to exchange ideas and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Water science, Materials, and Environment. This interdisciplinary event also provides an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the latest innovations, emerging trends, pressing challenges, and practical solutions in the fields of water management and wastewater treatment, membranes, materials, valorization of natural resources and renewable energies.

   Publications                                

• Conference Proceedings: All accepted abstracts for oral and poster presentations will be published online in the official WaMEC 2025 Proceedings, ensuring accessibility to a global audience.

• Journal Publication Opportunity: Authors of selected high-quality abstracts will be invited to submit their work for peer-reviewed publication in SCOPUS indexed journals as part of special issues in journals collaborating with WaMEC 2025. Detailed instructions for journal submissions will be provided on the “PUBLICATIONS” page, with direct links to the journals’ special issue webpages.

    Abstract Submission Process             

Abstract should be prepared according to the template, using given text styles. Papers which will not meet the requirements will not be sent to review.

  Student Awards                            

The Student Awards will be given to the studies that will be selected by the committee among the orals and posters presented in the Conference. 

The WaMEC 2025 Student Awards aim to recognize and encourage exceptional contributions by young researchers. Registered students are eligible to apply for the awards during the abstract submission process.
